Just a quick warning to anyone who has an issue: don’t stress too much before calling them. I had a small problem and the staff sorted it really quickly. They were also super friendly on the phone and made the whole thing really easy. a surprisingly good experience.

Booking was really simple, and the place was clean when we arrived. The kids had a great time, which made the whole experience even better. Overall, it was a smooth and positive stay

My experience was okay overall, but I did find the replies a bit slow and sometimes not very clear. I got the information I needed in the end, but it felt like I had to follow up more than I expected. I’m curious if other people had the same experience or if I just caught them at a busy time...

It was okay overall, but it felt a bit overpriced for what you actually get. Some parts of the place looked a little worn out, and once you start adding on the extras, the cost jumps fast. Not terrible, just not really worth it to me.

I wasn’t sure at first, actually, let me say that better: I didn’t expect much going in, but it ended up being worth it for me.

The kids had a great time on the slides. that was the main thing. Lots of running back for another go, big smiles, all that. But the queues were long. Felt like we spent a lot of the day just waiting around. And the changing rooms... yeah, they could definitely be cleaner. Not terrible, but not great either. Still, we had an okay day overall. Kids were happy, so that helped.

I booked through barnsleymetrodome while I was sat with a cup of tea trying to sort plans for the week, and to be fair it was mostly straightforward. I found the session I wanted quickly and the payment went through without any fuss, which is always a relief. A couple of pages did feel a bit slow, and I ended up double-checking the times before I confirmed just to be sure I hadn’t picked the wrong slot. Not a massive issue though. The booking email came through soon after, so all in all it was fine really.

Went to the Metrodome with the kids and, at first I felt a bit ignored because we weren’t really sure where to go and no one seemed to notice us standing there. But once we did get someone’s attention, the staff were lovely. They helped us find our way, had a laugh with the kids, and made the whole visit feel a lot easier and less stressful

I felt really safe here with the kids. The staff were actually keeping an eye on the pool area instead of just standing around chatting, which I really appreciated. The lifeguards seemed alert and were clear when they needed to tell people what to do. It was busy, but it still felt well managed and under control. It made the whole visit a lot more relaxing for me, and I would happily go back again

Took the kids swimming and actually felt really comfortable the whole time. The lifeguards weren’t just leaning around or staring into space, you could see them scanning the pool properly, even the corners near the steps and the shallow bit. One of them spotted a little lad starting to struggle and was over there so quickly, no fuss, just straight on it. That kind of thing really stood out to me. It made it much easier to relax a bit and let mine enjoy themselves. Good visit overall...

Had a really fun time bowling here!! The lanes worked fine and everything went smoothly. Overall, it was a good experience and I’d be happy to go again.

Took the kids to Barnsley Metrodome they acted like I’d taken them on the holiday of a lifetime. The pool area was really fun and there was plenty to keep them busy for a good few hours, which felt like a small miracle. The staff were nice enough and it all felt very family friendly. The changing rooms could’ve been a bit cleaner, but they weren’t a total disaster or anything. We’d definitely go again.

Went to the Metrodome at the weekend the parking wasn’t as bad as people make it out to be. We found a space quickly, which was a relief. Yeah, it got busy when we were leaving, but that’s kind of expected, isn’t it? It wasn’t perfect, but it really wasn’t a big hassle either.

I’ve been going to a few classes at Barnsley Metrodome recently they’ve been really good. The instructors are friendly, explain everything clearly, and make the sessions enjoyable without it feeling too serious. I always come away feeling like I’ve had a proper workout. Easy 5 stars from me — and if there’s any kind of credit or thank-you for leaving feedback, I definitely wouldn’t complain!

Getting in and around was fine, honestly. The lifts helped a lot, especially when you don’t feel like dealing with stairs.
